Aim

This 3-hour practical based award is accredited by Agored Cymru, offering everybody who completes the course a nationally recognised first aid certificate, specifically tailored to football.

About

The course incorporates the current first aid guidelines recommended for emergency treatment, including basic life support, treating unconscious casualties, using a defibrillator, as well as treating choking, bleeding, head, bone, muscle and ligament injuries.

Outcomes

All participants are required to complete an on-course practical assessment to ensure competency in dealing with simulated emergency situations. Additional post-course resources are provided for each candidate in order to support learning.
