Our National Syllabus “1st Kick to 1st Team” underpins all the 3 Hour Revalidation Workshops.
Coaches can choose from 3 Workshop Themes,
• The Importance of Small Sided Games,
• Managing the Environment,
• The Principles of play – The Final 3rd
Each Workshop highlighting the importance of the National Syllabus and how it can be implemented in all levels of football in Wales from Grassroots to the National 1st Team.
Candidates will be asked to share views and opinions, discuss the importance of the grassroots game in Wales and engage in-group tasks with other candidates.
The Workshop will contain elements of Classroom based Theory and Outdoor Practical Sessions lead by FAW Trust Coach Education Tutors.
6.00pm > 7.00pm – Theory & Candidate Group Tasks
7.00pm > 8.00pm – FAW Practical Session
8.00pm > 9.00pm – Theory & Candidate Group Tasks
Any Candidate who attends the Workshop will gain 3 Coach education hours to go towards their Level 1 Revalidation requirements.
Please be prepared for outdoor practical sessions and indoor classroom theory.
All candidates are asked to wear suitable clothing to take part in sessions if needed.
