Delivered over a period of five contacts and two off course mentoring sessions educating candidates who work within the Female Game across the key requirements of modern football and developing your ability to plan, prepare, deliver and reflect on coaching sessions for the development of female players. All on and off course mentoring sessions are based around female players.
Coaches will complete online modules and coursework throughout the course and be expected to deliver practical sessions, both on and off course. However, there is no formal assessment. The course is targeting all coaches who work within the female game and all discussions that take place are specific to the female game.
To access the FAW C Certificate, all coaches will require a valid FAW Football Leaders Award, FAW First Aid Award and FAW Safeguarding Award, for more details please contact the Coach Education team for guidance.
The FAW Trust reserves the right to refuse any applicant access to the FAW C Certificate Programme if the applicant does not meet the required criteria.
