Aim

This course follows on from the FAW C Certificate Coaching Goalkeepers course and is designed to support the development of in-game understanding and tactical knowledge.

About

This course will support your development in game understanding and tactical knowledge discussed during course practical days and online sessions.

Outcomes

This course is designed to combine the technical mechanics of the goalkeeper and their role in the modern game. Exploring how coaches positively affect goalkeepers through realistic practices, and decision making opportunities. Practical and theoretical presentations support the coach by building technical, tactical, physical, social and psychological knowledge.

At this level, the ability to plan, prepare and reflect upon coaching sessions specific to goalkeepers, is key.

FAW C Certificate Coaching Goalkeepers or equivalent

FAW First Aid Award/ FAW Football Emergency Aid

FAW Safeguarding Award

CV - Detailing Coaching and Playing Career
